The color of the year

Pantone has announced the official color of the year: turquoise! So, we'll be seeing more of this color throughout the year in fashion, decor, and even weddings. Its a bright and cheerful hue. I am all about using turquoise accents in my home but for me personally, I don't think I would paint with such a bright color! Maybe a muted turquoise. What do you think of this color?
