Colored Denim

I love the colored denim trend going on right now. It's fun and oh so perfect for summer!

I have a pair of royal blue jeans that I bought at Saks a few years ago. They are perfect whether I want to dress them up or down.

Colored jeans are definitely a statement piece. I like to keep things simple with a white tee and neutral flats like gold sandals or the ones shown in the pictures above. I always layer on a few necklaces (with a little color but mostly neutral strands) and a fun neutral handbag.

Neon

You have no idea how badly I wanted to paint my bedroom neon pink when I was little. Though my taste has grown a bit more sophisticated, I still love a good neon tee, handbag, nail polish or accessory.

I've seen neon so much lately. Mostly on design blogs and Pinterest but also a little bit in stores like Forever 21, Urban Outfitters and American Apparel.

I have a couple neon v-neck tees that I wear to work out in. I got them at Urban a few years ago...they are my absolute favorite and make working out a little bit more fun :)

If you're having a baby...you should do this!

How adorable are these pictures? This is from the blog Young House Love. They photographed their baby girl each week for the first year using discount fabric, a white onesie and then used photoshop to add the week number. I love all the photographs put together. What a fun way to capture your babies first year!

Happy Friday! This week has been entirely too busy. I am so thankful it's almost the weekend!
