Product Love: The fix for damaged hair

My hair needs some repairing ever once in a while from getting blonde highlights. I am always on the search for a hair product that really works on damaged hair. My friend told me about Argan products after complementing her on how shiny and healthy her hair looked. She let me in on her little secret. Argan Oil + Argan Hair Mask. I've used the mask twice and I am addicted to this product. I use the oil after I straighten my hair. The products smell amazing and even better, the products are available at Sally's for an awesome price. No fancy smancy brand name pricing. Yesssss!

Trench Love

The forecast for the next few days is rain rain and more RAIN! You know what that means...Trench coats! I love a good trench and I am loving these options. And let's not forget the oh so fabulous Burberry trench. Maybe someday but don't worry I'm not holding my breath or anything.

Design Crush: Jonathan Adler

I love the interior design work of Jonathan Adler. He is amazing at using unexpected combinations of color, texture and pattern. His interiors are always open, well lit and way fun. My day is instantly better after viewing a bit of his work.

How I spent my Thursday evening...

I grew up seeing my dad work in our flower beds each weekend pulling weeds and making everything look perfect. So naturally, when I bought a house...my goal was to have clean and colorful flower beds like my parents. Remember this adventure from last year? Things have come a long way and I actually enjoy landscaping more than I thought. It's awfully rewarding when it increases curb appeal!

This year I bought a few more evergreens (a couple of mine died over winter, it happens) and then I went crazy adding lime green ground cover, portulaca ground cover in pink, yellow, orange and white and begonias in pink, red and white . I am not really into yard ornaments but last year when I graduated college I was one proud graduate so my mom bought me a Sooners stone and I love it. Unfortunately the tree next to the stone died. Sad sad. 

Ps: I will post more pictures later..but remember when the front yard was lacking grass? I planted sod and it is all filled in now...it looks sooooo much better! :)

A colorful identity

I am in love with this brand identity by AFOM. It's eye catching, unexpected yet still clean and professional. I am a huge fan of off setting bright colors with a soft, clean neutral....White? Oh yes! Gray? Even better! Tan? You bet! Simple and oh so clean! The business card logo is debossed (logo is raised) and the letterhead is embossed (logo is not raised but pressed into the paper, creating a blind embossed design on the back).

I am so smitten with the iphone case designs by Pencil Shavings Paper. They are so colorful, cute and unlike any iphone cases out there! I am definitely loving the gingham and chevron patterns. Lovely Living Room + Lovely Colors

I saw this home tour on The Little Green Notebook the other day and fell in love with the pink, green and light blue color palette. This space is so cheerful and cozy without sacrificing chic design. 

I absolutely adore this small window console. I have a huge window in my living room and this console would be a perfect way display a few books and frames.

Most of you are aware of my slight obsession with Kate Spade. On Saturday, they launched their wedding line. It is full of crisp whites, pops of color and gorgeous statement jewelry to wear on your big day. Here are a few of my favorites:
